Welcome to Sumo Predict

Sumo Predict is a prediction game based on the real Grand Sumo tournament calendar. Six times a year, over 15 days of bouts, you predict the outcome of each match — and earn points for every correct call.

How the game works

• Each day of the tournament you predict the results of that day's bouts.
• Correct predictions earn you points. The more precise, the better.
• Every day you are paired against another player — the one with more correct predictions that day wins the pairing.
• The player with the most daily wins at the end of the 15-day tournament takes the overall victory.

Ranking

Tournaments in Sumo Predict run alongside the real Grand Sumo calendar — same dates, same schedule. Player rankings mirror the sumo hierarchy: starting from Jonokuchi at the bottom, you climb through the divisions all the way to Yokozuna. Your rank rises and falls after each tournament based on your results, just like a real rikishi.
